Investigating a different category of food each month, participating students share the foods that are typical to their country. In this way, students show, not only what natural resources are available in their area, but the local rituals as well. Each month, participants are invited to share a recipe, message, image, or video letter in the Global Food Show and Tell forum. Partner schools are encouraged to respond in either written or video forms. Would they enjoy that food? Do they have something similar in their country? Join students from Bahrain, India, Mexico, Morocco, Lebanon, Pakistan, Peru, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, and the USA who have posted their recipes, images, and cooking videos recently in the project gallery. Connect in the Global Food Show and Tell Project Group on the iEARN Collaboration Centre.

Origami Project
Join a global project that uses origami to connect youth worldwide. It does not take much space, much money, or much time. It only requires a sheet of paper and the instructions on how to fold origami. Through folding origami, participants can learn a new way of playing with paper and they can also learn concentration and patience. And, they can make small gifts to bring joy to others, including how to fold an origami crane, a symbol of world peace. Connect in the Origami Project on the iEARN Collaboration Centre.

My Name Arround the World
Join students from Saudi Arabia, Belarus, Australia, Palestine, the USA, Russia, Pakistan and Japan who have posted recently in the My Name Project. Students are invited to share the meaning of their names with the world through writing, drawings, and other visual representations, and to learn about their global peers through topics such as naming traditions in different countries, different meanings of names, and famous people who have shared these names. Please take a few moments to read their contributions, and give them your encouragement and positive comments on the project forum. See a short Animoto video about the project and get connected in the My Name Project forum.
